Stockeld Park Riding For The Disabled 

Stockeld Park RDA is an independent and self-funding member within The Riding For The Disabled Association and has been providing riding for children with a wide range of special needs. for over 50 years.

Clad Safety donated 35 high visibility vests for use at their sponsored ride event which aims to raise funds to provide the children with free riding lessons.

Clad Safety Sending Support To Ukraine

Clad Safety recently donated a number of pallets of vital supplies to Ukraine including hand sanitiser, antibacterial wipes and clothing. 

Finance Director, Richard Trevvettt liaised with the charity and twelve pallets containing these critical items were loaded on to a wagon and driven from our warehouse in Knaresborough, on to Poland and then distributed to the Ukrainian refugees. 

Support for our clients’ charities

As well as supporting our own chosen charities, where possible, we like to help support the chosen charities of our Customers. Once Upon a Smile is one such charity.

Founded in 2011, Once Upon a Smile works largely in the Manchester region to support families after the loss of a loved one.

Recently, Clad donated a hamper of goodies to this cause. It was an unexpected surprise to receive this lovely Thank You card in the post.

Recycling to a worthy cause

Here at Clad Safety, we try to minimise waste and particularly dislike disposing of products that can be re-purposed for a better use.

We recently donated a number of men’s shirts to the Starbeck community shop for Saint Michael’s Hospice.

Every pound raised goes straight to work helping local people when and where they need it most.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

The team at Clad Safety recently held our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning for 2019.

With a gorgeous spread of home-baked cakes, traybakes and savouries there were plenty of tasty treats to go around, while raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

Comic Relief

TJX and TK Maxx are one of the main partners for Comic Relief. They held a variety of events to raise money for Red Nose Day 2019 and Clad were proud to donate Comic Relief branded clothing for the fundraisers to wear. We provided long sleeved polo shirts and jumpers for the charity golfers and lab coats for the Taskmaster quiz.

BHF Pickup

Clad offered the use of their Warehouse to the British Heart Foundation Rapid Relief Team. Bags of donations were dropped off before being packed up and loaded on to a vehicle ready for distribution.
