How do I place an order?

a. For non-account Customers, please use our online shop.

b. If your Company uses our Clad Serve portal, login here (Clad Serve link) and refer to your user guide. If you have any queries regarding this, contact our Customer Service Team (link).

c. If you are an Account Customer who does not use Clad Serve, please email your order including product code, colour, size, quantity and which logos are required to sales@cladsafety.co.uk.

Do you charge for delivery?

Orders over £50 qualify for free UK next working day delivery. Orders £49.99 and under are subject to a delivery fee of £6 +VAT.

Do you supply a size guide?

As we stock from wide range of suppliers we don’t offer a generic size guide on our site.

We can offer sizing information for the products within your negotiated range as part of our Clad Care service

How do I return an item?

Please click here for information regarding returns bought through our online shop. Unfortunately, we cannot refund delivery charges or the cost of returning goods to us unless they are faulty or recorded as damaged upon delivery.

Account Customers need to contact the Customer Service Team to arrange the return, stating order reference and item to be returned within 14 working days of receipt. Charges will be dependent upon negotiated terms of your contract.

What are the minimum order quantities?

There is no minimum order quantity on non-logoed stock items ordered through our online shop although they may incur delivery charge.

For logoed items, unless agreed with your Account Manager, the minimum quantities are as follows:

  • 24 items for new Embroidery (EMB)
  • 8 items for reorder of EMB
  • 20 items for Heat Seal Transfers or helmet stickers
  • 40 items for printed helmets (can vary by style – contact us to confirm)
How long will my order take?

Unless negotiated by contract, our standard lead times are:

  1. Stock lines (non-logoed) and online orders placed before 2pm will be despatched same day on UK next-day delivery, orders placed after 2pm will be despatched next working day.
  2. Reorders on logoed items – 1 week turnaround. Please note, orders may be delayed during peak times.
  3. New logo setups:
    • Heat Seal Transfer & Helmet stickers – 2-3 weeks from artwork sign-off
    • Embroidery – 1 week from sample approval
How do I open a Trade Credit Account?

A credit application form is available on request. If needed, our friendly and helpful Customer Service Team are available to discuss your requirements where we can tailor our service and products to suit your Company’s needs.

Do I have to pay VAT on safety footwear and hard hats?

If purchasing for your own work use, safety boots and helmets are VAT 0% rated.

If you are an employer purchasing safety boots or helmets for your employees, then this exemption does not apply, and you should pay VAT at the prevailing rate.

Safety shoes and trainers are not eligible and must pay VAT at applicable rate. Boot is defined as having a minimum height of 90mm measured vertically from the insole at the back.

If you think you have been charged VAT in error, please contact our Customer Service Team who can check your order details and arrange a refund if eligible.
